The first post in my blog this new year!!!I myself Visiting this blog after so many days!!! :D Any ways starting this year with music review of WANTED,music by chakri,starring Gopi Chand and Deeksha Seth.
The album starts with "Arakilo Pogaru",with typical Chakri's electric guitar and Ranjith's ocals perfectly fitting the opening song of an album.Chakri seems to have mixed some classic music in it at some parts.The rythm arrangement is neat."Evo Pichi Veshalu" is a neat melody with good rythms and Beautiful Vocals from Javed Ali (or Chakri also contributed Vocals??).Nice song and you would love it in first hearing itself.No complications in tune or lyrics.Neat and simple.Javed's voice seems to be like that of Chakri singing melodies at some places."Dil Mera Dhak Dhak" has vocals from Udit Narayanan and Smitha trying to inject life into the song hardly.The weakest song upto now in this album.But still the arrangement is neat.
"Cheppana Cheppana" is another melody from the duo Chakri and Kausalya.Kausalya is sweet as usual and Chakri's voice is a bit loud as usual.But still tune is good and arrangements are neat.
"A for Angel" is a peppy track sung by Krishna Chaitanya and M.M.Sreelekha(Surprised to see her after a long time).Average track.
Well,good to see neat arrangements from Chakri and simple tunes along with simple lyrics from Bhaskarbhatla!!!You will like 2-3 tracks from these 5 tracks easily."Evo Pichi Veshalu" is the clear winner of this simple OST.

Album starts with a short song "Theme Of Hero" has a techno theme introducing Hero with powerful lyrics and equally powerful Metallica Guitars and rythms.Vocals by Geetha,Rita and Ramya.The next song is "Yuvakula" again a mish mash of techno beats with over synth and guitars.But finally you can clearly enjoy the song!!!Sung by the one of the regular singers of Thaman Ranjith,Remo Fernands and Revathi.Then comes my favourite track and the most fresh sounding of the album "Eyi Raaja" with Sweet Shreya and energetic Shankar Mahadevan accompanying the Capella of this power packed song with village kinda rythms and electric guitar streaming at some parts.Thaman's voice is the only bad part of this song!!!Shreya sounds some what odd but interesting in this song.

To be frank no one could have sung the song "Nijamena" better than Karthik did!!The smooth Synth and rythm may sound cool while you listen once or twice but it might bore you after some listenings.But you would love to hear it again for Karthik.Female vocals are given by Suchitra and I think Thaman better should stop his stupid humming in the middle!!!"Vachadura" has some biggies like Koti,Keeravani and KK and of course the regular singer Ranjith singing it and again like the other songs of the album this is again a fast paced song.A passable track for music lovers and repeat track for protagonist lovers. :) Rahul Nambiar's "Oopirage" seems to be inspired from "Kalaganna" of "Maska" having the same rythms and arrangements.Another passable track.And here comes my second favourite track of the album which starts with the famous yester year song "Brindavanamadi Andaridhi".The song is "Chinnadho vaipu" starts with typical Thaman's style of tightly packed rythms with some synth but then after then the song turns out to be absolute entertainer.Sukwindher sounds odd.Baba Sehgal is good with his Rap and female singers did their job decently.The last song is "Mojjaray" sung by Baba Sehgal and regular singer of Thaman,Ranjith and Nikitha Nigam.The song seems to be a marriage song and as the song names sounds this song reminds you the song "Mauja Mauja" from "Jab We Met".

Finally a thoroughly enjoyable album from Thaman Sai.To be frank this is the only album of Thaman which I liked after KICK.But the -ve in this album is :Thaman's humming.Seriously he should stop imitating Mani Sharma's sounding esp. of the movie Pokiri with his humming and using Ranjith(3 songs in this album) heavily to get Mani Sharma's kinda sounding!!!

Just like some of the Composers like Chakri,Devi Sri Prasad,Keeravani and Mani Sharma who always try their level best to provide the Dancing and Racy numbers esp. for this protagonist Thaman also did exactly the same.

Thoroughly Enjoyable Tracks.Just go and get a CD and start enjoying........

ROBOT/ENDHIRAN AUDIO REVIEW

I am really excited while writing this review!!Really because I am listening the techno sound of this quality in telugu music thanx to maestro ARR,The AR Rahman.

The starting of this highly hyped album is a slow techno melody,OO MARAMANISHI,dominated mostly by S.P.Balu in the latter part of the song and the first part of the song has Rahman's daugther KHATIJA RAHMAN singing sweetly the first part.

The Second song is another song is NEELO VALAPU starting with a sweet guitar and Donno why Vijay Prakash's voice is some what odd for this in Tamil version but Ok in telugu version and Shreya Ghoshal is sweet in both versions.The second interlude reminds you the music of JEANS.On the whole a superb melody.You can enjoy this to the core.
The third song is INIMULO which starts with racy rythms and streaming synthesizer which gives you a feel of English song,Thanx to excellent Vocals of Kash 'n' Krissy and AR Rahman's voice in this song sounds like that of ROBOT.The environment of recording truly suits the song with the synth running all through the song and even the rythms also never sound heavy.
CHITTI DANCE SHOW CASE is an excellent experiment of AR.Rahman mixing the techno beat with the Symphony type in the middle and Electric Guitar streaming in middle in ARR style.No one can experiment these type of instrumentals I bet.
Don't get deceived by HariHaran and Sadhana Sargam's name for the song HARIMA HARIMA and don't expect a melody.This song again has grandeur in orchestra with heavy rythms and Electric guitar too good.I need review about HariHaran or Sadhana Sargam's voice.You won't miss synth even in this song also. :)
KILIMINJARO starts with the heavy guitar and Interesting note of rythms.Some way or other this is the only song that don't have too much of synth and mainly depends on the rythm and you won't miss the grandeur in orchestra here also.Chinmayi did a decent job and Javed Ali's voice is odd.
Get ready for another roller coster ride of excellent synth,guitar and rythms in techno style for BOOM BOOM ROBO YOGI.B did a excellent job.

And I hadn't mentioned about the lyrics intentionally because they are bad and infact you will be busy quenching your thirst of Techno beats!!!

After finishing this album you will definetely feel that you have indeed listened a great GRAND ALBUM which would be definetely the best techno album atleast for coming 10 years.

A Stylish album for the Super Star.This album's gonna dash into your Juke Boxes!!!! If you like to see grandeur in films,you will love to listen the same grandeur in this album and really thanks to Shankar sir for extracting these tunes and Rahman sir for bringing out the best techno album.

My Word:GO FOR IT!YOU WON'T GET TO LISTEN THE QUALITY OF SYNTH AND GRANDNESS OF ORCHESTRA AGAIN!!!!

DON SEENU AUDIO REVIEW

Aidhella Vayasu with the soul less singing from Baba Sehgal can be heard for the lines "vedevado veera massu tirakasu case laaga unnade veedi maatalu nammute prati intiko don untade" and the DON type music and all other songs until the song "Adugutundi" can be left after listening once! And ADUGUTUNDIis the winner of the album and for the first time Mani experimented with remix of his own song in a album and it is not so good!

Not even a passable album with one or two good songs and all other the routine stuff form Mani.

Never expected these kind of songs! :(

Definetely the worst after all the Mani's exceptional works like VARUDU,SUBHAPRADHAM and peppy HAPPY HAPPY GA.

Two Legends are coming together for SUBHAPRADAM,K.Viswanath garu and Mani sharma.Here's a peep into the album!!!

1)Ambha paraku(Singers-DSV Sastry)-Shows the Versitality of Mani Sharma in composing the songs.A classic song!(Can any one confirm if it is already a classic bit or song composed by Mani Sharma)

2)Baileli Baileli(Lyrics-Rambatla.SingersMallikarjun,vijayalakshmi,Malavika)-It will attract you at the sounding "Namah Sivohom" bit.The flute bits are good.Mallikarjun's voice after so many days!The interludes are too good!

3)Mouname Chebutundi(Lyrics:Ananth Sriram.SIngers:SPB,Pranavi)-A song which you would expect to result after both the
K.Viswanath and Mani Sharma come together.The singer's variation is good!!Sung by SPB and Pranavi

4)Nee Navvey(Lyrics:"Sirivennela"Seetharama Sastry,Singers:Karthik,Sunitha)-Till Now I waited for a song which could become the song of album and undoubtedly this is the song of album.The arrangement is too good!A perfect melody!!!Excellent lyrics,Veena bits and ofcourse not to forget Karthik's and Sunitha's voice.Definetely you would say that Mani Sharma added his flavour to the classic music with this song!

5)Oo Bhoomaata Orimi Chalamma(Lyrics:"Sirivennela Seetharama sastry,Singers:Rita)-Didn't expect Rita to be part of this albumA classic song!!You cannot complain about if you are a classic song lover.

6)Thappatloi Thalaloi(Lyrics:Ramajogiah Sastry,Singers:Chaitra)-A song on Lord Krishna with good lyrical value and what impresses you in this song is the singing of chaitra!!!Rythms at some parts are also good!!!

7)Yelelo Yelelo(Lyrics:Ananth Sriram,Singers:SPB,Shankar Mahadevan)-Did I say the song of album is over????No here's another song which you would say that this is the song of album with two titans of music singing for you,Shankar Mahadevan and SPB.

As expected it had very good lyrical value which K.Vishwanath's movies have and Nice pleasant music which would take you back to the golden age of classic music.Mani Sharma did excellent job at some places adding his touch to classic songs!!!Nee Navvey and Yelelo are my picks!
People who are waiting for a classic music should surely listen to this album.It will quench your thirst for classic music!!!!!
Just go for it!!!

Em Pillo Em Pillado Audio Review

Andam Geesina and Telisindey Ee Kshanam are stand out winners though my personal favourite is Telisindey Ee Kshanam with perfect Mani Sharma stamp melody.The title track Em Pillo Em Pillado is a regular mass kind of number and Povery Povey is another Mani Sharma's usual stuff.Oka Ammaye Oka Abbayi has Jassie Gift welcoming you with his New Voice.

Not satisfied with album,waiting for SUBHAPRADAM.

Summer!!!Each and every kid in India will definetely want this season to come over and over!!!And of course the case is same with me (Me not a kid though :D).The holidays this summer as usual passed with some good and bad moments watching some shocking news and browsing internet.But even in the scorching heat this year of about 45 degrees in our home town I chilled out with some special music this summer. Well let me give you some cool music with which I chilled out this summer.

Starting with my new habit of listening kannada music,I had heard the music of poriki,maleyali jotheyali,sangama more number of times this summer in kannada. Of these OORELLA from PORIKI composed by HARI KRISHNA caught my attention in first listening and SAKATHAGAVULE followed it.And the title song from MALEYALI JOTHEYALI will be a stand out winner for everyone who listen the album.But I like song NEE SAANIHAKE BANDRE which had super chlling voice of SONU NIGAM and excellent melody from HARI KRISHNA and even had traces of TU HI MERI DOST form YUVRAJ.

And coming to SANGAMA,I gave it a listen or two a long time ago.But listened it with more attention this time and my favourite came out to be KODU KODU BHAGAWANTHA sung by GOPIKA POORNIMA and composed by DEVI SRI PRASAD with neat rythms and the title song SANGAMA which DEVI SRI used again in KING movie

And coming to TAMIL SINGAM title song composed and sung by DEVI SRI PRASAD rocked most of the time in mah I-Pod this summer.And of course YUVAN'S tunes did their magic as usual on me with PAIYYA's THULI THULI and even though repeated tracks were used by MANI SHARMA in SURA,They are "VINA"ble(Vinadam=listen in telugu :D)

And I found a beauty in the form of ORU NAALIL form PUDHUPETTAI

And HINDI.To be frank HINDI music had become a bit boring.(May be TELUGU,TAMIL&KANNADA tracks had more techno sounding!!! :/).But A.R.RAHMAN again made HINDI music to take a new turn with RAVANAN.BEHNE DE from KARTHIK is superb and the ELECTRIC GUITARS in RANJA RANJA are even more cooler! B-)

RAKESH ROSHAN showed some of his Good Ol' traces with ZINDAGI DO PAL KI from KITES and SEL(SHANKAR-EHSAN-LOY) did a decent job with HOUSEFUL.And RAJNEETI which had Assorted composers has BEEGI SI and MORA PIYA.

And coming to TELUGU MANI SHARMA did amazing job with VARUDU with some super cool tracks not only for the whole summer but also for the whole of year!!!!He gave BAHUSHA OO CHANCHALA to which SHREYA&SONU added magic and no words for the lyricspenned by Late.Veturi Sundaramamurthy garu who is no more :( SIMHA had the sole melody in the form of BANGARU KONDA which boasts of some good music from CHAKRI and cool voice of HARI HARAN.And then came NEEVE NEEVE form DARLING composed and sung GV PRAKASH had tooo cool music to make it a addiction.(I am even listening this track right now!!!!).

SARVAM,YUVAN's musical dubbed from SARVAM of TAMIL has same music and the magic of KAATRUKULLAI in the form of GAALLO THELE is retained.And another YUVAN's musical AAWARA(PAIYYA) is superb too!!!

Though M.M.Keeravani disappointed with his 200th movie RAMA RAMA KRISHNA KRISHNA(RRKK),the cool songs like NOW OR NEVER,EE CHEEKATI and RUPAYI from VEDAM were like the Cool Drink after the hot journey in the form of RRKK.Another Musical from CHAKRI,GOLIMAAR has super cool track in the form of GUNDELLO.The acoustic guitars will take you to a cool island and ofcourse other songs in that album will kick you from that island directly to your home land :D CHALAKI,the first venture of Kannada composer V.HARI KRISHNA had EMO EDO JARIGINDANTE in it to listen.KOTHIMOOKA had two surprise cool packages NUVVOKA PUVVULA and REMIX of yester year's magic song OOHALU GUSA GUSA LADE from MANI SHARMA.

DRENCHED.................................

Being a music lover I generally search,actually dug into the history and search if I had missed any albums in any of the language(I am a telugu person),be it hindi or telugu or tamil or kannada or whatever the language when it matters!

And that too with summer vaction running which became a stupid rainy season,thanx to "laila" :P.Now Now!She ain't a girl,it is a name of cyclone,I was really bored with the rains not stopping and even cold and fever.So,I tried my favourite pass time again and started browsing through a website on my CHOCO PIE(My PC).

And started browsing the some Ol' Tamil songs and came up with album "Pudhupettai".Of course I had listened it before in Telugu also in the name of "Dhoolpet".

Hmmmm.So,tried to listened it again!But in tamil.And to my surprise I am stuck at the so called song "ORU NAALIL".I don't know how the time passed by and how many times I listened it in repeat mode!

The sweet rythm running in back ground and juicy acoustic guitar and breezy yuvan's voice and with tangy piano and another guitar in the bits and pieces in middle and not to forget the nice violin made me dumbstruck!My hands stopped working as they can't press the next button.

And suddenly the Breezy Yuvan's voice made the breeze outside more cooler,the juicy acoustics made the juicy mango in my hand even more tastier,the sweet flow of air outside became even more sweeter and for about 2-3 hours I had forgotten that I am suffering with sever cold and mild fever.The rain which I hate the most didn't come to my thoughts at all!

And now I seriously thought how did I miss this beautiful number in DHOOLPET.I quickly brwosed through my CD and to my atonishment it is not there in my collection and so I missed while I am downloading the album.

The telugu's version "Okka Natitho" had Karthik singing,of course the same orchestrisation.

These are my words dil se.......That's why I wanna share here the song.Enjoy and get drowned and drenched in the Rain of Yuvan's beautiful melody...............

Here comes my first review for a album apart from telugu.

NAANE INDHRIAN is a regular mass masala song having the voices of benny and manikya vinayagam.

EN IDHAYAM is a melody genre track sung by tippu,suchitra.A good song which you might like in first hearing itself.The rythm loop and Guitar in middle is good.Ok job from singers side!

STOLE MY HEART is a mix of melody and western with electric guitar and Bass guitar slaps in middle.I think singers spoiled the song.But the electric guitar is good.

KADHAL VANDHAL is another Baba Sehgal and DSP's combo but the song is not great as their previous combos in ADHURS and in JALSA.It may be liked by Tamil Audiences.Just remember "may be" and I am not sure.

SINGAM starts with electric guitar and the rap from DSP.The song of album until now for me!!!Singing is ok for a title song and Devi tries variety of instruments in this song!

The unplugged version of STOLE MY HEART is far better than the original.And Devi Sri succeded in gioing another melody in the form of unplugged like in the albums of JALSA,KUTTY,ARYA-2.But to be frank this is ain't so great as the D-Plugged versions in the albums I mentioned.

Devi tried different stuff from his regular tamil songs.My pick of the album is the Title song SINGAM.A regular album from Devi but look out for the different orchestrisation from Devi in this album.This may strike its chord in tamil and may not in telugu if it is dubbed here. And sorry that I can't review the lyrics coz I donno tamil :(

"VEDAM" AUDIO REVIEW

"Now or never" is a refreshing start to album.Ranjith,Deepu,Geethamadhuri did well and M.M.Keeravani came up with ROCK genre tune!!!!!This really amazed me!

The next song "Egiri pothe entha baguntundi" is completly different from the first song and is a simple Indian song with Sunitha and M.M.Keeravani himself lending the voices for this song.Not a great song.

"Rupayi" is sung by M.M.Keeravani and starts with little bit of Jazz and keyboard and then gains momentum a bit.But still the jazz remains and this is another song of Rock genre.

"Prapancham Naa Venta Vostunte" is sung by Chaitra,Achu(Music Director of Kurradu and Nenu Meeku Telusa),Allu Arjun(Surprise Surprise) and Anuj Guruwara(of "Panchadara Bomma" from Magadheera fame).This is also not a regular Keeravani's number and the Rap in middle made it look like a Bit of Yuvan's Work.Decent song.

"Malli Puttani" is a mix of Rock music with Jazz,Tabla and piano mixed and Voice lent by M.M.Keeravani.Again a different tune from M.M.keeravani and you will be surely shocked by the way M.M.Keeravani used the instruments in this song!!!

"Em telisi Nannu Mohistivi" is a bit song and nothing much to talk about it.

"Vedam" bit song is sung by Karthik and M.M.Keeravani has Rythms in keeravani's style(Of movies Anukokunda Oka Roju and Amma Cheppindi) another Rock kinda song with drums in middle.A Good bit song!!!!

"Ye Cheekati Cherani" is a song which runs only with keyboard for about 3.4 minutes and then starts the rock genre Jazz and drums!!Sung again by M.M.Keeravani!

Really I didn't expect the album to be in this way and this turned out to be a album with many ROCK genre songs!!!!M.M.Keeravani's compositions in this album reminded me of Sankar-Ehsaan-Loy's compositions. A truly Refreshing and experimental album from M.M.Keeravani.Actually M.M.Keeravani's voice is a bit odd in most of the songs!And if I am not wrong this is the first album of this kind in telugu!!!NOW OR NEVER IS MY FAVOURITE NUMBER OF THIS ALBUM

Final Verdict:Go for it and groove to this ROCK genre experimental from M.M.Keeravani :)

Wow!Good that this "DARLING AUDIO REVIEW FIRST ON NET"!!!!!!KARUNAKARAN,director of this movie has some good music taste which he proved with VASU,BALU,YUVAKUDU,TOLIPREMA,HAPPY and ULLASANGA UTSAHANGA!AnD it seems he continued with this also!!!

Any ways going to the review of this album:

"Oh Saahore" is a peppy song with excellent metallica guitars and excellent synth!The rythm and percussion arrangement is excellent!Everything is fine with it to become a very good western song!The bike sounding in the middle of the song is excellent!Lyrics are not so great and the orchestrisation dominates the singing.But singer has done a decent job!

"Inka Edho" is a melody with nice acoustic and flute bits in middle.Though the rythm loop used is not so new but it is nice.And the female singer's lines "pada pada guruva...." is superb!Once again the tune and orchestrisation is excellent but the singer's way of pronouncing telugu is very bad!The female singer lines will make you listen the song again and again!

"Neeve" is the song of the album!And you will understand why I had said this when you listen the first ten seconds of the song!Starts with excellent guitar and runs with a addictive rythm loop!The singer's voice is also too good and addictive!The guitar which occurs in the starting keeps on coming all over the song.The rythm and guitar with GV's trademark flute in the middle makes this song very addictive as a whole!.Excellent melody!Worth to put this into your I-Pod for years together!!!!

"Bangaru Malley" is a folk number which starts with a punjabi beat!This is probably the most mediocre song of the album!Not a great song to discuss because by now you would be haunted by the melody of "neeve" song!Singers have really tried to bring life into the song!One thing is for sure.Definitely not a routine mas number in telugu movies!

"Pranama" is another fast paced western beat song!Orchestrisation is simple and decent for the song!GV's trademark flute is again in the song in some parts!After first pallavi you will again hear the interlude of "neeve" song in flute.And in interlude you will be shocked to see the classic bit!!!Nice song.Singer's way of singing is good but the way of pronouncing telugu is not good!

"Goom Goom" song is again a techno and western based fast paced song!Excellent synth and rythms.The bit goom goom seems to be inspired from Black Eyed Peas Boom Boom,but donno may be the story demands that because the protogonist in the movie seems to be a rock star.Excellent song and you will enjoy if you love the orchestra dominated songs!

Yet another peppy album from GV Prakash with nice western numbers!One thing is for sure.While listening to this album forget about the singing and lyrics.But the orchestrisation is too good!And melodies will definitely follow you!
